These conditions apply to vehicles rented through EDEN DRIVE LRC. Please read them before signing the rental agreement. The individual agreement specifies the vehicle, drivers, price, security deposit, dates, and collection and return arrangements.

1. Driver Eligibility & Required Documents

The minimum age to rent and drive an EDEN DRIVE LRC vehicle is 23 years for all drivers, regardless of gender.

Drivers holding a Moroccan driving licence must have held it for at least two years. Drivers holding a foreign driving licence must have held it for at least one year, and it must be valid for driving in Morocco.

All drivers must present an accepted identity document and valid driving licence and meet applicable insurance eligibility requirements.

2. Free Reservations & Rental Payments

Booking and cancellation

Reservations are completely free of charge. Customers may submit a booking request without a reservation fee or advance booking deposit. All reservations remain subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by EDEN DRIVE LRC.

Customers may cancel free of charge. Whenever possible, we appreciate notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. This is a recommendation, not a condition for free cancellation.

Rental payment

All rental fees are quoted and paid in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) only, to avoid misunderstandings caused by exchange-rate differences. Rental payments are separate from the refundable security deposit.

3. Refundable Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for each rental. The amount depends on the vehicle and is disclosed before the rental begins.

Deposits may be accepted in cash or by bank transfer, in MAD, EUR, USD or GBP only, subject to applicable payment and foreign-exchange rules. No other foreign currencies are accepted.

EDEN DRIVE LRC does not apply its own currency conversion to deposits. Where permitted under applicable regulations, deposits provided in foreign currency are held and refunded in the same amount and same currency originally received.

When the vehicle is returned in its original condition, allowing for normal wear, the deposit is refunded in full. Any deductions or settlements arising from proven damage or another justified charge will be explained and handled under the rental agreement and applicable law.

4. Vehicle Inspection & Condition

Before handover, EDEN DRIVE LRC records a video documenting the vehicle’s interior and exterior condition. Customers are also asked to record their own video at pickup.

At return, the vehicle’s condition may be compared with these recordings. Any newly identified damage is assessed under the applicable rental terms.

5. Insurance, Accidents & Vehicle Damage

Accidents caused by the renter

If the renter causes an accident involving moderate or significant damage, the applicable insurance deductible (franchise) is payable according to the actual insurance policy and rental agreement.

Minor cosmetic damage

Light scratches, small dents and comparable cosmetic damage not requiring specialist assessment may be reviewed visually. EDEN DRIVE LRC and the renter may agree on a reasonable, justified repair amount without automatically submitting an insurance claim.

Accidents not caused by the renter

Where another party is responsible, damage is handled through the relevant insurance procedures, subject to applicable coverage.

Accident reporting

The renter must notify EDEN DRIVE LRC immediately and obtain the appropriate accident documentation, such as a constat amiable or police or Royal Moroccan Gendarmerie report as appropriate.

If legally required documentation is not supplied and this prevents an insurance claim, the renter may be responsible for resulting repair costs, subject to the policy, contract and applicable law.

6. Fuel Policy

The vehicle does not need to be returned with exactly the same fuel level as at pickup. However, the renter must maintain sufficient fuel for safe operation and must not allow the vehicle to run out of fuel.

7. Rental Duration & Late Returns

Rental periods are calculated in 24-hour intervals, starting at the agreed pickup time. The vehicle must be returned at the contracted date, time and location.

If the vehicle is not required for another confirmed rental, a delay of up to 3 hours and 30 minutes may be accepted at no additional charge. The renter should notify EDEN DRIVE LRC promptly. This flexibility cannot be guaranteed if another customer’s reservation would be affected.

For delays between 3 hours 30 minutes and 4 hours, customers must contact the company to agree return arrangements; the stated 200 MAD fee does not apply before four hours.

A 200 MAD late-return fee applies when the delay reaches 4 hours or more. A late return does not automatically extend the contract.

8. Rental Extensions & Additional Days

To request an extension, customers must inform EDEN DRIVE LRC at least three days before their scheduled rental end date.

Extensions are subject to vehicle availability. An extension cannot be guaranteed where the vehicle is already reserved by another customer.

Additional days must be paid in MAD, in cash or by bank transfer, beginning on the first day of the approved extension. Once accepted and payment arrangements have been completed, the additional rental period is recorded in an extension to the rental agreement.

Customers must not assume an extension is authorised without EDEN DRIVE LRC’s express confirmation.

9. Failure to Return the Vehicle

Customers must return the vehicle when the rental agreement expires unless a further period has been expressly approved.

Keeping a vehicle without an authorised extension breaches the rental agreement. If the renter refuses to return the vehicle following the end of the agreed period and a request for return, EDEN DRIVE LRC reserves the right to take lawful steps to recover it and seek compensation for justified losses.

Depending on the circumstances, the company may file a criminal complaint, including for suspected breach of trust (abus de confiance), where the applicable legal requirements are met. The competent authorities and courts determine whether an offence has occurred.

10. Vehicle Cleanliness & Cleaning Fees

Vehicles are provided clean, and customers are expected to return them clean and washed. Normal use and minor dirt do not automatically result in a fee.

If excessive interior dirt requires extensive cleaning, a 600 MAD deep-cleaning fee applies. The pickup inspection record may be used in the assessment.

11. Unlimited Mileage & Travel Within Morocco

Unlimited mileage applies to every EDEN DRIVE LRC rental vehicle. Customers may travel throughout Morocco, including between cities, without daily or overall distance limits or kilometre-based charges.

All drivers must comply with Moroccan road regulations and use the vehicle responsibly.

12. International Travel & Cross-Border Authorisation

Travel outside Morocco may be permitted with EDEN DRIVE LRC’s prior approval.

The renter must complete any applicable administrative, customs and insurance formalities and pay the applicable official authorisation fees for the journey. Travel must comply with the destination country’s entry and vehicle requirements.

No renter may take the vehicle outside Morocco without the company’s prior authorisation and required documentation.

13. Authorised Drivers

Each rental agreement may name a maximum of two authorised drivers. Both must be identified in the agreement and satisfy the required age, licence and insurance conditions.

Only the named drivers may drive the vehicle. Allowing any other person to drive is a serious contract breach, and EDEN DRIVE LRC may terminate the rental and recover the vehicle through lawful procedures.

If an unauthorised driver causes damage, the contracting renter may be liable for the full justified repair costs, subject to insurance exclusions, the agreement and Moroccan law.

14. Traffic Violations & Official Requests

Drivers must comply with traffic laws. Official speeding or other traffic notices may arrive after the rental has ended.

Where EDEN DRIVE LRC receives an official notice, it may supply the competent authority, including the relevant administrative service, with the rental agreement and information identifying the authorised driver for the period concerned. The competent authority handles the violation under its procedures.

No additional administrative fee is charged for providing these documents. Records are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Mechanical Breakdown & Roadside Assistance

For a mechanical breakdown not caused by the renter’s actions, negligence or misuse, EDEN DRIVE LRC arranges appropriate roadside assistance and vehicle recovery.

A replacement vehicle will be offered if available. If none is available and the rental cannot continue, EDEN DRIVE LRC refunds the rental charges for the unused rental days.

The renter must notify the company promptly about mechanical problems and must not arrange unauthorised repairs.

16. Smoking & Interior Damage

Smoking is permitted, provided the vehicle is returned properly cleaned and washed.

Burns or permanent seat and upholstery damage caused by smoking are charged at the necessary and justified repair cost or, if replacement is required, the replacement cost of the affected seat or component.

Excessive interior dirt may also result in the 600 MAD deep-cleaning fee.

17. Lost Keys & Vehicle Documents

The renter must keep the vehicle keys and registration documents safe.

Lost or damaged keys are charged at their necessary replacement cost, including any required programming. A lost registration certificate (Carte Grise) is charged at the relevant administrative and replacement cost.

Loss or theft of a key or vehicle document must be reported to EDEN DRIVE LRC promptly. Charges must reflect justified expenses.

18. Applicable Law & Contact

These terms are subject to applicable Moroccan law and must be read alongside the signed rental agreement and our Privacy Policy.
