Car Rental FAQs

Answers to common questions about booking, drivers, deposits, airports and rental conditions in Morocco.

Before You Book

How old do I need to be to rent a car?

Drivers must be at least 23 years old. A Moroccan driving licence must have been held for at least two years; a foreign driving licence for at least one year. All licences must be valid for driving in Morocco.

Which documents do I need?

Please present an accepted identity document and a valid driving licence. All named drivers must meet the eligibility and insurance requirements.

Is it free to request a booking?

Yes. Sending a booking request is free, with no advance reservation fee. Every request is subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by EDEN DRIVE LRC.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. Cancellation is free. When possible, please let us know at least 48 hours before pickup; this notice is appreciated but is not a condition for free cancellation.

How is the rental period calculated?

Rental periods are based on 24-hour intervals from your selected pickup time. If your selected return time goes beyond a completed 24-hour period, the booking system charges an additional rental day. Late returns after a rental has started are handled under the separate late-return provisions in our rental terms.

Is there a refundable security deposit?

Yes. Each vehicle has its own refundable security deposit, separate from the rental fee. The amount is provided before the rental begins. The deposit is refunded when the vehicle is returned in its original condition, allowing for normal wear, subject to the rental agreement and any justified deductions.

What currency can I pay in?

Rental fees are quoted and paid in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) only. Security deposits may be accepted in MAD, EUR, USD or GBP, subject to the arrangements and applicable regulations stated in our rental terms.

Can you arrange delivery at airports or in other cities?

Vehicle pickup and return arrangements may be organised at supported airports and cities in Morocco. Please provide your dates and location when requesting a booking so our team can confirm availability and any delivery arrangements.

Is mileage unlimited?

Yes. EDEN DRIVE LRC offers unlimited mileage on its rental vehicles for travel within Morocco. There are no daily or overall kilometre limits under the published rental terms.

Can an additional person drive the vehicle?

A rental agreement may include up to two authorised drivers. Both must be listed in the agreement and meet the required age, licence and insurance conditions.

What if I return the vehicle late?

Please contact us promptly if you expect to be late. Our published terms allow a possible grace period of up to three hours and thirty minutes, only when the vehicle is not needed for another confirmed rental. A 200 MAD late-return fee applies at four hours or more. An extension is not automatic.

What happens in case of an accident or breakdown?

Contact EDEN DRIVE LRC promptly. Accident procedures, insurance excesses and required reports depend on the circumstances and rental agreement. For a mechanical breakdown not caused by misuse, our terms provide for assistance and recovery, with a replacement vehicle offered if available.

Can I take the vehicle outside Morocco?

Only with EDEN DRIVE LRC's prior approval and all required administrative, insurance and customs authorisations. Do not cross a border without authorisation.
